Find your way in the building

The building has two entrances (which can be tricky): the first one is located at level -1, the second one is located at level -2 as well as the mailboxes and the concierge’s local.

Access entrance level -1:

Follow this path to arrive at the entrance level -1.

Access entrance level -2:

Entrée du -2 B52

This entrance is usually used for the deliveries from the supplier.

By car

GPS coordinates B52 :

From the E40 or E42 (via Loncin interchange)

  1. At the Loncin interchange, follow the signs for E25 – Liège-Luxembourg.
  2. After a few kilometers, you'll enter the Cointe Tunnel.
  3. Take the first exit after the tunnel: Val Benoît – Seraing.
  4. Follow the Meuse River, keeping it on your left.
  5. At the roundabout, take the second exit, continuing along the river.
  6. Just before the Standard de Liège football stadium, go under a bridge and turn immediately right to cross it.
  7. Continue following signs for Marche. You are now on the Route de Sclessin, which climbs the Sart-Tilman hill for about 3 km.
  8. Take the second exit marked "Université de Liège".
  9. At the roundabout, take the first exit, then turn right following signs for ULiège / CHU to enter the campus.
  10. Continue to the “Amphis de l’Europe” roundabout and take the first exit onto Boulevard du Colonster.
    fter about 50 meters, take the first left onto Allée de la Découverte.
  11. The B52 building is located at the end of the road, on your left.

 

From the E25 (via Embourg)

  1. Take Exit 40 – Embourg.
  2. Follow the signs to ULiège Sart Tilman.
  3. Once on campus, follow the signs for Building B52 or Parking P33a.

 

🚍 Getting to Sart-Tilman Campus by Public Transport

Several bus and tram lines can take you to the Sart-Tilman campus, depending on where you're staying in Liège:

Bus 2
📍 Departure: Guillemins Station
⏱️ Approximate travel time: 30 minutes

 

Bus 3
📍 Departure: Place de la République Française (city center)
⏱️ Approximate travel time: 45 minutes

 

Bus 25
📍 Departure: Chênée
🚏 Route: passes through Embourg, then climbs to the campus via Colonster Hill

🚊 Tram + Bus Combination

Tram 1 + Bus 8
📍 Departure: Guillemins Station → take Tram 1 towards Standard
🔁 Transfer: at Sclessin, switch to Bus 8 to reach the campus

🚶 Final Access on Foot

No matter which route you take, get off at the "Polytech" bus stop.

👉 Then, walk for about 2 minutes:

Go down Allée de la Découverte

Take the pedestrian path on your left

To get to it, you have to go down the "Allée de la Découverte", then take the pedestrian access on your left.

 

By train

The "Guillemins" station is the main train station of Liège. From there, several bus lines and tram T1 take you to the city centrer or the Sart-Tilman campus.

By plane

Zaventem airport

The main national airport is located in Zaventem, near by Bruxelles. Frequent train services are connecting Zaventem, Bruxelles and Louvain (Leuven), as well as Liège.

Charleroi airport

Train + bus : From the airport terminal, it is possible to join the station of Charleroi-Sud (bus A) where you can take a train to the Liège-Guillemins station every single hour. You can buy a ticket outside of the airport or online (https://www.belgianrail.be/en/Default.aspx). A combined ticket (bus + train) is available.

 

Inside building B52

The building has two entrances: one at level -1 (the nearest from the bus stop) and one at level -2 (on the other side of the building).

If you arrive through the entrance on level -2, go up to the stairs/lift at the end of the hall and go up to level -1.

The administration office is on level -1, in room 425.
