It is our pleasure to announce the 6th symposium on the hydrological modelling of the Meuse basin on Friday, 13th September 2019 in Liège (Belgium).

The objective of the symposium is to share and exchange knowledge related to water-related modelling (in a wide sense) of the Meuse basin on a scientific basis. For this year’s edition we look for presentations on the following topics:

  • Hydrological processes and modelling
  • River models for morphology and hydraulics
  • Forecasting and scenarios
  • Natural flows and integrated river management
  • Reservoir operations.

The programme will also include a general session and address the joint modelling exercise on comparison of hydrological modelling approaches, which has been a recurring topic since the first edition of the symposium in 2013.

Organizing committee: Benjamin Dewals (Université de Liège), Bernhard Becker (Deltares)

Would you like to give a presentation during this symposium? Please contact Bernhard Becker from the organizing committee.
