Funding : Région Wallonne, Greisch
Duration: 4 years
Finelg is a finite element software dedicated to civil engineering applications which was created in the late 70's by ULiège and Greisch design Office. It is the result of more than forty years of sharp numerical developments. FINELG can tackle various engineering problems from dynamic analysis in both time and frequency domain to linear and nonlinear structural analysis, and among many others. The FINELG2020 project, sponsored by the "Région Wallonne" aims at modernizing the software and at extending its capabilities. The structural and stochastic Team is involved in the development of two new features : a third order spectral dynamic analysis and a generator of synthetic wind and swell loads.
