The Interreg project EMfloodResilience aims at improving flood risk modelling and management across the Euregio region. In this project, the group HECE (UR UEE) of University of Liege will use their in-house developed hydrodynamic model WOLF  to tackle challenges such as quantifying the effects of floating debris on bridge clogging, flood hazard and damages, as well as enhanced flood loss predictions.

A first scientific meeting was organized at ULiège. It gathered project partners from TU Delft, RWTH Aachen, Rijkswaterstaat and ULiège.

Academics in charge: prof. Benjamin Dewals, ir. Sébastien Erpicum
