SAFIR is a computer program that models the behavior of building structures subjected to fire. The development of SAFIR was started by Jean-Marc Franssen in the 1990s at University of Liege.

Since 2011, SAFIR is codeveloped by Jean-Marc Franssen and by Thomas Gernay.
